No Bird
The bird that says no.
The Concept
No Bird is a conceptual toy for parents to give to children that will not stop crying or making noise. Using an Arduino micro processor, No Bird reacts to noise by making some of his own. When sound is detected through the input a response of “no” is sent through the output. The “no” response stops when the sensor detects silence in the atmosphere.
The Brief
This undergraduate assignment asked for us to reproduce a previous concept based on a narrative in a new way. (This was based on the narrative of the lullaby Hush Little Baby.)
